Operation

  • Position ~25 mm above the skin with LEDs aimed at the area of interest.
  • Press the Power button (P) to turn on. Look through the lens from 25–50 mm away.
  • To focus, move the device or use the Dial (D) to extend the Spacer (S) for contact dermoscopy.

Attach a disposable IceCap (IC) over the Faceplate (FP) for infection control. Remove after use.

Removing Spacer and Faceplate

  • Spacer: Rotate Dial (D) counter-clockwise past resistance, then pull off. To reattach, insert Spacer legs and press down while rotating clockwise.
  • Faceplate: Pull off from Spacer at fingernail notches. Snap to reattach.

Photography

Use DermLite MagnetiConnect® adapters (sold separately) to attach to cameras or smartphones. Clean the faceplate and extend the Spacer before use.

  • Battery status is shown via 4 LEDs (Charge Indicator - CI).
