In this video, I discuss the "concept" of variable polarization as found in the new Dermlite DL5. Most of us are familiar with "polarization," but what is "variable polarization"?

Unlike all prior dermatoscopes, the Dermlite DL5 is the first to offer polarization which can be adjusted throughout the spectrum - from fully "parallel polarization" (enhancing surface freatures) all the way to ""cross polarization" (enhancing deeper elements).
