Syris v900L - Directions for Use

Intended Use

The Syris v900L is a vision enhancement system designed for non-invasive visual examination of intact skin in medical settings.

CAUTION: Do not look into the LEDs. Do not operate in flammable or explosive environments.

WARNING: Contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. Avoid use with Qi wireless chargers.

System Overview

This system includes LED illumination, adjustable polarization, magnification, and mobility via a rechargeable battery. A rotating polarizer and Visi-Shield™ magnifier enhance visibility of subsurface structures.

Charging the Battery

• Use only the official 7.4V lithium-ion battery from DermLite.
• Charge with the supplied Charger Base and AC adapter. A full charge takes ~5 hours.
• CI LED: Blinking green = charging; Solid green = full; Blinking red = error.
• To remove the battery, press the Release Button (RB) on the Charger Base.

Control Module Operation

• Insert battery into the Control Module (CM) and attach it to your belt.
• Plug in the Illuminator Cable (IC).
• Press the Power Button (PB) for full brightness. Press again for low. Press a third time to power off.
• Battery Indicator (BI): Green = >30 mins, Orange = <30 mins, Red = <10 mins. Red flashes + beeps indicate imminent shutdown.

Headgear & Illumination Adjustment

• Adjust the fit using the Top Knob (TK) and Back Knob (BK).
• Adjust Visi-Shield™ (VS) via the Support Arm (SA) for optimal magnified view.
• Adjust Illuminator Module (IM) for best field lighting. Rotate the Polarizer (P) to toggle between surface and subsurface detail.

Cleaning & Maintenance

CAUTION: No user modifications permitted. Only trained personnel may perform repairs.

Wipe exterior with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not immerse. Clean optics with standard lens care tools.

Disposal

Separate battery and electronics for proper disposal. Do not discard in household waste.

Warranty

5-year warranty on parts and labor. Battery warranty: 1 year.
